Vineyard / Estate / Viticulture:
Soil Type: Soils of fine sand on old alluvial substrates composed of small and medium stones and a large around of rock decomposition. Medium-low depth allowing good drainage. Medium-low organic content. Special Vintage Info: Temperate Mediterranean climate. Dry summers with moderate maximum temperatures and cold and discreetly rainy winters. The average summer temperature ranges between 12 o C and 27 o C. The annual average rainfall is 700mm.
Vinification / Winemaking:
– How grapes were handled: 100% hand picked
– Fermentation / Yeast Type / Vessel: Hand sorting of grapes both before and after destemming. Pre-fermentative maceration for 6 days at 6ºC. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 14 days at 26ºC – 28°C. Post ferment maceration for 10 days. Run off and then malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels

Tasting Notes:
Alive, dark ruby color. On the nose, fresh and fruity. On the palate, round, succulent, powerful, yet soft, with notes of black fruits and dark chocolate.
