– Soil Type: Vines planted 630 meters above sea level. The soils at the base of the Andes tend to be young and alluvial with a high proportion of sand and loam and are low in organic material. The sandy loam is underlain with river rocks offering good drainage.

– How grapes were handled: By hand, in cases of 15 Kg during the month of March
– Fermentation / Yeast Type / Vessel: Bunches sorted with a conveyor belt and destemmed. Traditional, cold pre-fermentation during 4 days, spontaneous alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperatures of between 26 o C and 28 o C. Maceration time: 17 days. 100% Malolactic fermentation.

– Ageing – barrels / size / time: 20% of the wine was aged in French oak barrels for 9 months.
Bright garnet colour, with deep hues. Its aromas are fruity, with a touch of cherries and fresh plums, characteristic of this grape native of Tuscany – Italy. On the palate, a nuance of acidity makes it vibrating and fresh. Harmonious, elegant and complex.
